The second collaboration between Omotesando Koffee and Studio Adjective brings minimalist elegance to Salcedo, Manila, where refined design meets tactile warmth.
A carefully curated palette of dark wood, warm plaster, and raw cement creates a dialogue between sophistication and comfort, offering a serene coffee haven. The layout, geometric and structured, ensures smooth circulation while defining distinct spatial zones. At the heart of the space, the signature coffee kiosk - crafted with a solid wood frame, grey marble top, and illuminated by an artificial skylight - serves as both a focal point and a quiet stage for the barista’s craft, inviting engagement from the surrounding aisle-way.
Seating areas, subtly partitioned by rhythmic wood columns and latticed screens, offer privacy while maintaining a visual connection to the kiosk’s movements. Furniture, designed and crafted from locally sourced timber in collaboration with Lamana, includes Studio Adjective’s Tripodal Stools for Ishinomaki Laboratory.
This intentional design harmonises materiality, function, and atmosphere, distilling Omotesando Koffee’s essence into a space that is both architectural and deeply human.
