Studio Adjective has crafted a serene, minimalist apartment on Hong Kong’s southern edge, overlooking Aberdeen Harbour and framed by mountain views. Designed to enhance horizontal flow, the interior merges effortlessly with its natural surroundings, offering an airy, calming atmosphere.
The clients, seeking simplicity and elegance, embraced a palette of white-washed oak and grey textures. A 9-meter custom cabinet wall with charcoal grey metal accents serves as storage and a visual connection from the entrance to the harbour view, transforming into a bench that invites relaxation by the window.
Thoughtful transitions define the space - grey walls and timber ceilings seamlessly link the living area to the bedroom. Terrazzo bathroom walls, granite basins, and marble detailing elevate the aesthetic, while twin walk-in closets and bathrooms streamline the couple’s morning routine.
The kitchen, framed by grey and slate panels, is complemented by a gradient glass sliding door that offers both separation and visual continuity. Every detail feels intentional, creating a refined sanctuary where texture, light, and design coexist in perfect harmony.
